MUET Speaking

Salaam. We are now in a discussion about technology. It's a bit nervous-contributing process, and I have just responded to NadJoliey's and Arif's comments regarding to this. Was a bit nervous and knee-shaken. Uhm, allow me to respond longer here.

'Technology: What is The Most Important Invention In The 20th Century?'

I would definitely choose satellite. Satellite is a technology, pioneered by the Russian scientists in the voyage to the heavens above. The very first artificial satellite back then was Sputnik. Space exploration was the race between Socialism with Capitalism and Sputnik- traversing through five layers of atmosphere- was the victory of ideology and not technology for Socialistic nations.
Sputnik initiation
Talking about communication, satellites had brought up so many benefits to humanity. Satellite is simply an invention which consists of many electronic parts; transmitters, transducers; just to name a few. It is basically body of assembled electronic parts. This state-of-the-art invention eased and thus revolutionized the way we communicate, and the way we see our daily world.

Satellite was the breaking point for other proceeding technologies such as space explorer launching, satellite mapping and spying programs, and most importantly communication. For the simplest instance: one fifth of the Earthlings are Facebook account holders.

So, there is no doubt that satellite, in regards to the benefits and advancement it brought to our community, is the best and foremost invention of the 20th century.

^P/S: Wait. Wasn't satellite built in the 40s? Now I'm getting myself entangled o.O"
