Inspired~

Salaam. HUAAAAAAAAAAGGHHHH (menguap)~ mengantuk gila, lepas nda tidur semalam sampai jam 5 tadi. Buat apa? Hehehehe.. tengok video debat Syeikhul Islam, Ahmed Deedat.

Jaw dropped... what a beautiful man, he is. His contentions are so stern, firm and yet unbelievably comprehensible. I adore him, from now on.

Saya sebenarnya sangat bercita-cita untuk menjadi seorang penghujah Islam. Pelbagai tokoh saya sudah tengok videonya, seperti contoh; Dr Zakir Naik, Imam Shabir Ally dan banyak lagi. Pada pendapat saya, berdakwah adalah kewajipan umat Islam. Bukupun, saya cuba baca sebanyak mungkin, mempersiapkan diri bagi sebarang soalan yang diutarakan golongan yang tidak percaya.

But I believe...

Dakwah is not only about telling people what Islam is. Saya seratus-peratus percaya, dakwah adalah 80% buat, dan 20% cakap. If you can speak fluently about God but do not worship Him, nor do what He asks us to do, than that for sure will never attract any human to you. Instead, you are making it hard for them to understand why it is obliged.

For example..

When we are to reason the obligation of fasting and praying, people will have the tendency to see if these practices are in your. It is a normal justification of which, need not any further explanation. And of which, if you did not do, will make people skeptical about the label, 'obligation' you have just give them.

So, no. There is no dakwah without doing.

In a nutshell..

Islamize yourself, first. Then read, understand it and practice it. Action speaks louder than words because by solely showing actions, you are consolidating your message. It is a sound hypocrisy if you lest out things that you said as good. Allah SWT incurred wrath upon this people in His Words, Al-Qur`an, Surahtul Saff. Anyway, I think we'd better get back to the original topic: wanting to be a dai`e.

Secara peribadinya, saya tidak dapat melihat karier yang lebih dekat kepada Tuhan melainkan dai`e. Sekarang ni, tambah semangat bila tengok video Allahyarham Ahmed Deedat berpidato. Akan cuba mengikut jejak langka beliau. Doakan saya untuk--at least--be in the same direction as he was.
